Synopsis

This project aims to examine the effects of incorporating visual art and music into the Hong Kong Chinese Medicine Hospital. With Dr. Eric Feng serving as the artistic director for the hospital’s construction, the study will develop a series of site-specific public art projects that combine visual-audio media, and investigate the impact of artistic installations combining “art + music” to establish a nurturing environment. After its completion, the research will specifically analyse how these artistic elements enhance the physical, social, and symbolic aspects of healthcare settings, ultimately contributing to a holistic and caring milieu within the hospital.
